AI TINKERERS SINGAPORE / DECEMBER BUILD SESSION

Build something
useful.

One evening. A room full of builders. Bring an idea and work towards a prototype you can show.

Event in planning · Registration is not open yet.

01 / THE FORMAT

Less stage time.
More making.

A small build session for developers, technical founders, and makers who want to turn an idea into something useful.

Come solo or with a team of 2–4. Start with short technical demos, spend two full hours building, then share what works and get feedback. The proposed format has no formal judging panel.

120minutes of protected build time
60–80builders in the room

Inspired by Stripe Startups Build Day Singapore on 26 August 2026: practical demos, hands-on building, and access to technical experts. This is a separate AI Tinkerers session.

02 / MAIN SPONSOR

Supabase support
for builders.

More room to experiment, with support to help you get started.

Supabase has offered its usual event support package in our planning discussion. Here’s what that includes, and what we’re arranging for this session.

OFFERED SUPPORT

Credits for each attendee

Supabase credits so builders can try the platform. Credit amounts, eligibility, redemption steps, and expiry will be confirmed before registration opens.

OFFERED SUPPORT

Swag for the community

Supabase swag for the session. The items and quantities will be agreed with the team.

OFFERED SUPPORT

Help with food & venue costs

Supabase can contribute towards venue and F&B costs. We’re exploring a hosted venue so more of the support can go towards the builder experience.

OFFERED · FORMAT TO AGREE

Prizes, if we include awards

Prize support is available as part of Supabase’s usual package. Any awards and selection format will be agreed in advance; informal show-and-tell remains the default.

TECHNICAL TEAM BEING ARRANGED

Product demos, questions, and practical feedback

Supabase is identifying someone to present. We’ve also requested experts who can inspire builders, answer questions during build time, and give feedback on demos. Names and on-site availability are still being confirmed.

Follow-up office hours and a year of Supabase credits were suggested as possible extras. Neither is a confirmed benefit.

03 / START SMALL

What could you build?

Pick one workflow.
Or bring the idea you’ve been meaning to try.

01 / RESEARCH

A source-linked shortlist

Find useful web sources, save results in Supabase, and add a simple review screen. Exa is one possible search tool.

Demo goal: one query → a saved shortlist.

02 / COLLABORATION

A shared discovery board

Collect useful articles or tools in Supabase and let teammates add notes or reactions.

Demo goal: two people using one live board.

03 / CUSTOMER INSIGHT

A company research tool

Find public company information and save a small set of findings and sources in Supabase.

Demo goal: a lookup with evidence you can open.

Illustrative projects, not promised workshops. Bring sample or public data. Explore Supabase · Explore Exa. Additional collaborators such as Exa are being explored; participation is not confirmed.

04 / THE EVENING

Four hours.
Make them count.

Proposed: 10 December 2026
5:00–9:00pm Singapore time

One hour to settle in and get inspired, two hours of protected building, and a full hour for demos and feedback. The technical lineup is still being confirmed.

  1. Arrive, eat, get connected

Check in, find a table, and test Wi-Fi and account access. Light food planned, subject to final arrangements.

  2. Pick one useful outcome

A quick welcome, the brief, and team matching. Aim for one working flow.

  3. See what you can build

A practical Supabase demo and an optional guest demo. If Supabase is the sole technology partner, use both slots for Supabase examples.

  4. THE MAIN EVENT · 6–8PM

    Build, ask, iterate.

Two full hours of protected build time, with technical help planned throughout. Work solo or in a small team and get one useful thing running.

  5. Demo and get feedback

A full hour from 8–9pm: eight opt-in demos, each with 4 minutes to show and 3 minutes of feedback, plus 4 minutes for transitions. Everyone can share a project link. Finish at 9pm.

05 / SINGAPORE

A room for 60–80 builders.

VENUE TO BE CONFIRMED

Start with 60 places and expand to 80 once the room layout and technical support are confirmed. These are venue options being considered, not booked locations.

Official location ↗

IMDA PIXEL

one-north. Workshop facilities are available, but published weekday hours end at 6pm. Evening access and a 60–80-workstation layout need approval.

Venue details ↗

room2f

Bras Basah. A paid fallback listing table-cluster layouts for 50–80 people, depending on activity. An evening quote and space for crew need checking.

Layout and facilities ↗

Room brief: 12–16 tables of 5, laptop power, reliable Wi-Fi, a screen and microphone, accessible entry, and a food area. Allow for 8–10 crew and mentors beyond the builders, with access from 4pm to 9:30pm for setup and pack-down.

06 / COME READY TO MAKE

Your laptop.
Your idea.
A little curiosity.

What should I prepare?

Bring your laptop and charger, and choose a small idea. Create the accounts you need and try the starter beforehand. A setup guide is planned for 3–5 days before the session. Coding familiarity is recommended; pair up if you’re new.

Can I come on my own?

Yes. The proposed format welcomes solo builders and small teams of 2–4, with a short team-matching moment at the start.

How do I register?

Registration is not open yet. Follow AI Tinkerers Singapore on Luma for the confirmed date, venue, technical lineup, and registration link. The plan is to open 60 approved places with a waitlist, then grow to 80 if space and support allow.

Is this a competition?

The default is an informal build session and show-and-tell, with no formal judging panel. Supabase has offered prize support; any awards and selection criteria will be announced if agreed.
